D2P Trip

In week 2, rooms 9, 2 and 1 went on a D2P trip.

First we went into a hut and got orange vests and hard hats. In the hut, we saw lots of cool pictures. After that, we went to see how the water gets from Maungaraki Dam to the Petone Beach. Then we went back to the bus to drive to the bottom of Maungaraki Hill - some of us got really dirty like the mud trucks.

There were not very many workers working because it was raining and they need dry weather

to finish the structures off.

It was awesome watching the builders do different jobs around the D2P bridge.
