Swimming

This term we have been swimming for school, to be safe for when were older. We have been learning to swim for nearly 2 weeks now. We have been learning how to swim for life. Some of us have been learning to do freestyle, floating on your back and front and rocket arms. On Friday we are having the fun activities and even more fun afterwards. We get to do the activities first like flutter boards, pajama race and other things.
Now all about the fun stuff. We can do any thing we want sometimes and we can play on the air balloons. That is all for now.

How You Start A Sailling Race

My mum works in the start box for Lowry Bay Yacht Club. This is how you start a sailing race. First you put up the class flag, to say what division is starting. Then the blue peter goes up one minute later. Two minuets later, the blue peter goes down and one minute after that, the class flag goes down too. If any boats go over the line before the hoot, she has to do an extra hoot, if lots of boats go over she has to start the race again.
